The Innomatic Web App uses a particular set of Web App Handlers in order to provide a special web user authenticated interface called “Innomatic Desktop”, especially suitable for administrative type applications but not meant to be used as a public, standard web site or portal.
The Desktop starts with a base home page, then is divided in two different parts: the “Control Panel” area (also called “Root Desktop”) for the Innomatic administrator, where he can manage Innomatic Applications and Domains, and the “Applications” area (also called “Domain Desktop”) for the Domain users.
The Domain Desktop is shared between the Domains; the authentication layer knows which particular user of a domain has been logged, and tells it to the Domain Desktop, which then displays the Innomatic Applications enabled to that Domain, customized (eg. user interface theme, localization, etc.) for that particular user.
